The police officer operating the motorcycle was on his way to a non-emergency event...directing traffic for a race being run downtown.

Angela was thrown 30 feet in the air and landed on her head. She sustained multiple skull fractures and internal bleeding in her brain leaving her with complete loss of smell and taste, emotional instability and permanent vertigo.
