FEATURED CASES

An elderly Chinese man was walking along a sidestreet in Manhattan when a street sweeper truck made a sharp turn and clipped him with its broom mechanism. The man fell backwards and hit his head on the curb sustaining mild brain damage. The plaintiff was retired and had no dependents.

Mr. Dansker settled this case over the telephone with the Corporation Counsel's Office, something that is all too rare an occurrence.

Mr. C, a young man with two young daughters was on the job collecting trash one evening when the driver of his truck lost control and hit a pole ejecting the plaintiff and causing him to slice his femoral artery in his leg. The ambulance took him to St Barnabas hospital where he sustained compartment syndrome in his abdomen and he died 12 hours later.

An extremely large recovery is expected in the future for the daughters of this young hardworking man.

sanitation accidents

The highly experienced lawyers at Dansker & Aspromonte have won many millions of dollars for their clients injured in sanitation accidents

Most people don't realize just how dangerous sanitation equipment can be to pedestrians and other motor vehicle operators and to the sanitation employees themselves. We at Dansker & Aspromonte have represented people on both sides of that equation.

Many New York City Sanitation workers may not be aware of the fact that if they are involved in a work related accident, unlike other private employees, City sanitation workers can sue their employer, the City of New York if the employer or a co employee was negligent and that negligence was a substantial factor in causing the accident.
