This case involved a 6-year-old girl who was in a minivan that was struck by an ambulance in a multi-car collision on the Northern State Parkway in Long Island, New York. As a result of the accident, Michelle sustained a fractured hip and fractured heel bone which required multiple surgeries. The ambulance denied fault and disputed the damages.
