Frank N. v. Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. SUPREME COURT: NEW YORK COUNTY PAUL DANSKER, TRIAL ATTORNEY JUDGE L. Mason

Plaintiff was a security guard who slipped on ice on a ramp attached to the building owned by Metropolitan Life.

Mr. Dansker proved that the heating coils in the ramp which were there because the ramp was specifically dangerous when icy, were not operational for an extreme period of time and would have prevented the accident had they been working. The plaintiff sustained a fractured knee and depression in the fall.
